Kosmosima Blinking Red

Postby Joshua Calvert » Thu Aug 15, 2019 21:14

Hi!

I just received my 2 Kosmosima sticks and I can't manage to have them working. The Stick led keeps blinking red:

1 - Gunfighter MK.II SCG Premium Right and Left
2 - 1.96F
3 - Default springs setup
4 - Default cam setup
5 - 0.90.54
6. Both black boxes are connected to the PC and their related stick.

I tried to:

1. Flash both sticks using 1.96F and 1.97.7
2. Reset both sticks by clicking on the Default button
3. Calibrate both sticks.

All of these steps without success.

Thank you in advance.

Already have "User=Developer" in the zconfig.

Check if you have the LEDs tab in External.

I don't have the LED tab in External. What it is supposed to mean to have or not this LED tab?

There's also no Mouse in Common, so there's something wrong in your zconfig. Check again please.
It'd be better if you could start from scratch as in the video.

Try to disable some software running underneath like Aorus, Logitech, vjoy etc and start from 0.

Also I believe the LED on the stick itself should be on and blue right? Because I actually have no light on the sticks.

Looking again at your screenshots, there's something definitely wrong with your installation. Delete everything, try to close as many background running software and start again following exactly the steps in the video.

That's weird it seems that the sticks are not connected.

mmm I don't know if it's installing properly in Safe Mode. I would just boot normally and kill whatever other software from the Task Manager.
That zconfig is still empty?
Also make sure the sticks are properly connected to the base. Take out the locking screw and check if the base shaft is all the way inside the grip.

Try the newer pair 1_97_7 + 0.90.56 from here.
After flashing, reset to default and calibrate.

Guys I am mega stupid... The 2 sticks were not fully connected to their bases... I did not push enough until hearing the "click".

Everything is perfect now, blue and green lights on both blackboxes and blue light on both sticks.

Thanks again and sorry for the disturbance.
