Device Disconnected (Config/Bootloader not recognizing)

Postby Dazven » Sat Jul 13, 2019 19:34

Hello,

I've had my Gunfighter Mk. II for just over a year now and did not have an issue when I first used this software with it, but as of now I cannot do anything with it.

Currently in Z-Bootloader this is what I am seeing (And after pressing reset):

My Gunfighter Mk. II is still recognized in Devices and Printers/Device Manager, inputs are showing as working, and works fine with any game. It is connected to a USB 3.0 port (tried 2.0 as well), Stick light is green, and SYS light is blue. I've tried shorting the boot pins, but it had no effect.

One thing I should mention is that within the stick itself one of the green wires is disconnected. I discovered this about a month after having it when I went to switch the springs out. However I didn't see any reason for concern as everything was working exactly as it should.

I would appreciate any help that could be given.

Thanks

I've added the HID Device List screenshot to the original post.

Thanks

1) Your ZBootloader is too old. Please update to the new http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/ZBootl ... 0v1_13.zip
2) For firmware update need to run VkbDevCFG and click on the "Bootloader" button http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/VKBDev ... 83_9_6.zip

Same result with the updated ZBootloader as in the original image. In the VkbDevCFG the "Bootloader" button is grayed out.

Click the mouse on the name of your device in the upper box.

Well, I am incredibly stupid apparently. Didn't really think that was clickable (Probably should have gone back and read the instructions again too).

Sorry to waste your all's time on this, but that definitely solved it for me.

I really appreciate the help.

Naw, the software could be a little intimidating at first, but with a little patience and research you'll discover how powerful it is.

Here's a guide I've made about flashing the firmware in case you'll run into trouble again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ht8yMsdlCQ&t=
