Grip Fixture problem

I have gladly recently bought a GFII+MCG Pro joystick and so far have 3 technical issues with it. I have sent you an email but received no reply and I hope Here I would.
I’ll separate the 3 issues into 3 different posts as for two of them I need to shoot a small video showing the problem.
Here is the 1st issue:

The Grip Fixture arrived in a very poor quality with metal shards sticking out of it’s desires geometry. Before assembly I had to file it smooth so it could be used (not expected that from a $400 piece of equipment). 1-2 weeks ago I was surprised when while I was using the joystick the grip was rotating freely on the base. The Grip Fixture screw unscrewed itself and the grip became loose. After inspecting it I was surprised to find out that the Grip Fixture is stuck inside the hole in the grip and won’t come out. I had to push it really hard to get it out. The reason it was stuck is a shard of metal that was still sticking out of it even after I thought I had filed it smooth. That shard of metal left a pretty deep scratch in the hole in the grip that it fits into.
Attached are photos of the scratch and the metal shard that created the problem, and the Grip Fixture showing how it has its corner missing (which is where the metal shard came out of).
