Today I received my Gladiator MK2.

However, first thing I noticed, is how the gimbal works (or doesnt?), and its definitely not same as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7L_AmneTuU

Thats is quite different Id say, and while not as bad as seen on the Cobra, very similar.

Is this ok? Or not?

It is OK, moreover it is better than OK.

The video you referred me to was shot using one of the very first Gladiators.
Some units out of the first few batches of this model were having problems with re-centering. To facilitate correct re-centering, we switched to a lower viscosity lubricant.
Because of that, oscillation sometimes occurs.
Nothing can be done about it, as there is always some sort of tug of war between accurate centering, and oscillation.
To make sure your grip always accurately returns to center with no oscillation please consider buying a Gunfighter base with clutch brake system.

If its better than OK, I'm happy.
I was just worried I received faulty product, as I have incredible luck this past few years with consumer electronics.

I'm not hardcore simmer so I opted to go with Gladiator, also because of the price. Maybe in few years I'll go with better setup.
