While using it during gaming it came off the base and trying to tighten the cylinder that holds it to the base more didnt help.
Then i found out if i unscrew the cylinder all the way and then sit the stick on the base and then tighten the cylinder the stick doesnt come off this way.
But i dont understand why, if the cylinder had to be loosen more before sitting the stick on the base then shouldnt the stick be unable to fit on the base?
How this science works, can someone explain it to me?

It is mainly occult, but you might want to double check the orientation of the flanges. When you fully remove the grip and then mount it back you maybe set the flanges in better position than when the grip is still on the shaft.
