VKB Pedals - Possibly asking the impossible!

Postby Rau » Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:46

Hi folks

Had my amazing little pedals for over a year now and curious if the VKB Device config can do this..

I'm looking for a way to have left/right act as independent axis, press left it increases an axis, press right and it increases another. when not pressed they set to zero.

No idea if that' s possible. I've managed to do a lot over the past few months with the device config program but can't understand how I'd do this. :D

:D

Try to set up axes. I suggest you can launch and use VKBdevcfg.exe. These settings are applicable to any VKB controller.
Select Input for #3 #4 =Virtual (Physical axes tab). We create two virtual axes.
We use #1 st axis as source. Axes #3 & #4 will be target.
Check En & Vs for them. Set enable and visible.
Uncheck Vs for #1. Set invisible (Logical axes tab).
Go to Combine and select Combi 1 for #3 and Combi 2 for #4 (different axes directions). Select #Axis (source) #1 for both virtual axes. Set % = 100 for both.
Press Set. Launch Joytester and see two axes. In my picture Z and Rx.
