Changing Cams Hardware Question Gunfighter II

Hello, Just received my MCG Pro on a Gunfighter Mk II. Was wanting to change cams and noticed different washers on either side of the cam. One Axis has Bearing---Lock washer---Cam---Flat washer---M4 Nut. Other Axis has Bearing---Lock washer---Cam---Lock Washer---M4 Nut.

I have any required washers, just wanted to make sure what VKB designed to use.

Thanks!

Yes it should be this way, and it is for a reason.
Special thanks to you for extra prudence, it is very right to double check everything before taking the device apart.

Similar question with a GF3. It had 2 lock washers side by side on one axis which seemed weird. I reassembled it that way but wanted to confirm that this is correct...

Is there any documentation to.confirm the exact order of washers, lock washers, nuts and the bolt direction (on the different axes the bolts were in opposite directions)

There's no template for positioning the washers and spring washers; there are only 2 important things: 1. the cam has to slide along the guiding ball bearing and the ball bearing has to be positioned inside the cam on its whole travel range, and 2. the cam, spring and inner side of the connecting ball bearing have to move all together, as a single unit.
In your 3rd picture looks like the guiding ball bearing is outside the cam; I would swap the spring washer from beside the cam with the washer from beside the nut.

Yeah I found it odd that the cam wasn't completely lined up with the bearing. That being said, it does run parallel with it. Do you think they had swapped the washers by accident when they assembled it?
