VKB Device Config - Trimmer Time

Postby hon0 » Tue Jan 29, 2019 11:32

Hello

I love the Trimmer Time feature allowing us to reset trim smoothly. However I would love it even more if I could specify a rate, instead of a time. Because with a time, the rate will change depending on how much trim we had before we reset. With a predefined rate, muscle memory could build and so in the end it would feel even better in my opinion.

Thanks in advance!

Let's try.
fw 1.96.5 / VKBDevCfg-C_v0.89.33

What's new:

Trimmer mode new.jpg

May be it's need to change values of rate ( now the same as for time)
Rate 1000 ms mean that full range of trimmer (100%) for bipolar axes will be will be worked out during 1000 ms.

Also
now Selector Trimmer type ( Standard/Modified) applied for each physical axis:

Not tested - so there may be some inaccuracies.

PS
Unfortunately, I won't be there until Monday (4/02), so I can answer questions later.

Hello, I finally took the time to test and the Trim Reset seems broken. No matter the Trim.Mode setting I choose in the Global parameter (Time or Rate) I can't reset my trim anymore.
I tested with VKBDevCfg v0.89.66 Firmware v1.96.7 on GF MCG PRO.

On a side note, thanks for the awesome 2D deadzone

(Not sure which file you need, the .bak or the .cfg so both are included).

Hi Alex, I just did some test (On a new profile, just after using the default button) and it seems that when the Trim.Time value is 0 I can reset. But if it isn't I can't, no matter the value of Trim.Mode.
