VKB Device Config v0.88.81
Firmware: v1.95.4
I used to be able to set my POV hat #2 to LowRes 4w buttons starting at But#1 = 30. But with this new software/firmware, everytime I click Set, it always changes But#1 back to 100. So, my 4w Hat buttons are 100-103. And I cannot change that.
But when I try to assign them in IL2 BoS it won't see those buttons because it only supports up to 64 buttons!! So I cannot use that Hat unless I can set the buttons lower.

Thanks, the new v0.88.89 software fixed it. I can change 100 to 30 now and it 'Set' it fine. Thanks!!
Do you know how the Trimmer/Combine Axes work? I am trying to trim my stick. The manual says it 'moves' the axis center, but it does not seem to move it.
Is the software/firmware in your link BETA? That is a different download page than what the VKB website sends you to. I am just curious.
Also, I posted the wrong firmware in my first post because the software has the wrong number in the titlebar.
Thanks for your help!

The FW number up in the title bar represents the highest FW that version of VKBDevconfig will work with. So the FW version you were using was one version higher. That may well have been the problem.
I didn't know that either and noticed it a while back. I posted a pic too. I think it was Ron that told me about that useful bit of info. Something to pay attention to when updating stuff. For this reason now I always update VKBDevconfig FIRST--then look at that supported FW number. Generally it's gonna be higher than the one you're currently using. If it's higher that means there is likely a new FW available or coming soon. That number just has to be higher than or equal to the FW version you're running to be fully compatible.

Thanks for that info.
But if that is the case, and I am using the latest version of the software (v0.88.89).
It's titlebar says "VKB Device Config v0.88.89 (NJoy32 firmware v1.95.4 (c) Alex Oz 2013-2018"
Then there is no software that works with the latest firmware v1.95.5? So I am guessing it is a typo? I hope so..

Not one that's been released into the wild yet I guess. I haven't looked in a while and I'm not at my PC to look. Just bookmark the link Ron posted and give it a look now and then. As you can see they update the FW and SW pretty often.
FWIW I've found that sometimes a profile made with one pair of FW and VKBDevconfig might not entirely work with an updated set. I've found simply tweaking something in the profile and re-saving it in the updated version will straighten it out. Sometimes a profile works just fine from version to version. I've had problems with trigger buttons and curves after updates. At any rate always remember the procedure. Default and recalibrate first, then apply a profile.
