Black box still flashing after attaching MCG to my Gunfighter Pro Rev A. I have run the VKB device config also. Black box shows as if I did not have a grip attached.

What am I doing that is incorrect?

DO I have to flash the firmware so it can see the MCG? If so, Z-Bootloader does not see my device. I read that I maybe have to short Boot jumpers on my device. I have taken it apart to look for such a jumper, but I do not see one. Is it on the Black box?

1. What devices does it see if you connect GF base?
2. With attached MCG?

Now Windows shows me a message saying the device has malfuctioned. Windows is no longer detecting my Gnufighter

What happens if you connect GF base only? Without any grip?

Same with no joystick connected to Black Box. I see this in device manager

Hmmm... seems a crap USB cable is causing the issue. Wiggling it make the box respond.

Maybe worth looking at and easy enough to check. Open up the bottom of the base and check the wires between the 4-pin connector and the circuit board. Try taking the connectors apart and re-seating them. Don't pull them by the wires! Could be just another case of a loose connector inside the base causing gremlins. This has happened, but it's usually happened to the gimbal connectors when it does. Just a thought. Of course, it could be the USB cable, but I'd give that a shot before writing it off.

It is the USB cable to the black box. It works now, I just got to figure out how to set all the buttons up in DCS.

What problem with button mapping?

I don't know how to do this. When I try setting master mode as buttons, it usually mashes several buttons together, so i guess I need to set deadlines or something. A guide would be really useful.

Yes, I set up using that, but when I press the centre button on Master mode, I end up with centre and two other two buttons. Gate Cont does not register a press at all in the test screen. I also see the axis moving.

Happy to accept I am doing this all wrong.
