Hello guys,

I'm having a problem with the MCG Pro (Rev A). Since a few weeks, the central part of the stick, circled in red, is moving and every week the slight shift is growing and becoming more important. I'm looking for a way to fix it or to send it to you until it is repaired. Here's a picture of the moving part and a GIF showing the problem itself. Thanks for your help !

The video does not understand why the adapter is loose - the plastic of the handle or the metal stem of the base?

I can see it, Ron. The problem is the screws that hold the socket assembly to the grip have come loose. Look closely at the gif and you can see the handle moving but not the socket.

This was a problem with some of the Rev A grips and mine was one of those. The good news is the fix is fairly easy. It involves taking the two halves of the grip apart to get at those screws. I'm at work and don't have time to search but there's a guide for taking the grip apart somewhere and also a thread here with pics of this exact problem.

You'll need a long (4")#0 Phillips head screwdriver in order to get at the screws near the top of the grip as they're in a fairly deep recess. Once you have it apart you'll see the screws I'm talking about. It's suggested to put some lock washers on those to help keep them tight. I put a dot of purple loctite (the lightest kind--don't use blue or red). I did that over 6 months ago and the problem is cured.

Look at the pic in the first post of this thread. It shows the screws affected.
