I have been using my Gunfighter since August without any problem, but suddenly x-axis not work correctly: I cannot perform full deflection to the right even if my grip is full right and x-axis indicator erratically moves.
I tried to recalibrate it but the error is still there.
The detailed description of the problem:
While I fluently and slowly move grip to the right, the indicator suddenly stops moving in the last quarter of the path towards the right side and/or started to erratically oscillate. I cannot perform full deflection to the right. The deflection to the left is OK (fluent and precise). Y-axis is OK as well.
See attachment - you can see x-axis indicator while my grip is full right
I use VKB Device Config v.0.87.05.
BTW: while I tried to solve the problem I mistakenly flashed firmware from BlackBox 1_94B - this firmware is not for KG12 but for MCG. Where can I download the firmware for KG12?
Thanks for help.
EDIT: I also tried the advice from this post http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3235: I unplug and plug again the X-axis connector (see attachment). But after plugging device to USB port and set the device to Default and then calibrating - no change :-/
Note: I use very soft springs (custom made) - they are softer than the softest default springs no. 10

Re: Gunfighter KG12 - X-axis not work correctly
Thanks very much. I have just successfully flashed the right firmware for KG12. I also downloaded the newest VKBDevCfg v.88 and again calibrated the stick.
Unfortunately, the problem with the X-axis is still there...

Re: Gunfighter KG12 - X-axis not work correctly
The arrow on your photo shows the connector KG12 - it is not interesting to us. After all, there are no problems with pressing the buttons on the handle?
It is worth checking out the X-axis connector, I think it will not be difficult. There were cases of bad contact in it.
It is worth dumping into default and calibrating. Before that, save your customized profile.

Great info Ron! Thanks very much for the clarification. I will try it ASAP and report back.
Re: Gunfighter KG12 - X-axis not work correctly
Unplug and plug again fixed it! X-Axis is now OK.
Many thanks again!
