Calibration issues (Gunfighter Mk.II)

I have a strange issue in that when I first start my PC and check my stick's calibration, it has gone off: it registers full travel (X and Y) with only half deflection. Trying to recalibrate does not help.

If I restart my PC and try again, I can successfully recalibrate and get proper range of motion. This isn't the most convenient arrangement though!

Any ideas?

Gunfighter Mk.II, Windows 10

VKB device config isn't working for me either, see screenshot below.

When have you found this issue? How did your joystick worked before? Try to use modern firmware http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Firmware/BlackBox/, bootloader http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/ZBootloader-C%20v1_11.zip and configuration tool http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/VKBDevCfg-C_v0_83_9_6.zip.
How do you calibrate axes? Do you use this manual http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Documentations/NJoy32_2_8_En.pdf?

Thanks, that configurator worked and solved the issue.
