button missing in Cougar grip after installing TM adapter

Hello to everyone.
I have received the TM Warthog adapter for Gladiator Pro in order to use it for my "old" Cougar grip which is very similar to the Warthog grip. After installing the adapter to the grip I managed to get the grip working (after several attempts) and now works fine but for a small problem with the "pickle weapon" button (the red one next to the trimmer hat) as it's the only button that doesn't work at all. It's not recognised by any VKB program ( VKB Device config v0.79.99, VKB_Btn Tester) or Windows 10.
Although it's a problem I can live with ( mapped "weapon launch" to another functional button in Gladiator) I would greatly appreciate any help to fix it.
