Hi all. I just received my new Gladiator MKII and when i tried to start either Gizzmo or Vkbdevcfg, i get that message...

Any clue?

I've been able to update the firmware with some help of my friend YouTube but now, with this, i'm stuck.

Is there any thing i'm doing wrong? The joystick is connected directly into a usb 3.0 port as requested.

Does Gladiator work?
Can you test it using Windows applet?

I tought that the Windows 10 Driver Signature Enforcement who's stalling both Wizzo and VKBDevCfg-C was the problem

After i disabled that option in Windows with the help of that article, (https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to ... d-drivers/) it worked for one shot.

Can you please be more specific? What applet?

"Windows applet" is Game controllers in Control Panel.

For fast access in Start/Cortana box type joy.cpl and hit ENTER.

A colleague buy an Gladiator PRO last week (in X-Plane store) and have similar problem, neither DevCfg, Wizzo and Windows Control panel see the joystick, but VKB Button Test see buttons pressed.

And on another machine, a laptop - is that also true?

yes. I tried the joystick on my kid laptop and everything is fine.

On my PC, no joy.

It's weird because the joystick is present in the windows peripherals app "Game Controllers"

Also. That is weird because i bought it at X-Plane.org too ?????

It turns out that when you start the configurator on a laptop, the joystick is visible in it? In the configurator. I understand correctly?

Exactly. Either the VKB Configurator or Gizzmo are not able to connect with my joystick with my PC.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 with a I5 4690K. Those two are not 100% friendly with Windows 10. They were made for Windows 8.1

Today i decided to upgrade my PC with a I5 8600K and a ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-G Gaming mobo. I hope that this will help solving my problem.

Anyway, i needed a little boost for DCS.

You yourself answered your own question. I have Win10 with the latest update of 1803 - everything works fine.

Rebuild my rig with a Asus Strix Z370-G, I5 8600K and 32GB Corsair Vengance RAM and i'm still having issue with both Wizzo and VKBConfig.

I am confused here...i really need help trying to figure out what's going on.

I finally find out!!!! There's a conflict between Tobii Eye Tracker 4C and VKB.

I will fill a ticket to both company to get help.

Is there anyone in the forum using Tobii Eye Tracker?
