MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping

Device: Gunfighter with MCG Pro (extended)
Firmware: 1.917
Springs: 2x#50 both axis
Cams: centerless both axis
VKBdevcfg version: 0.83.85

Issue: My Roll axis is jumping. I have already tried recalibrating, but it only helps for a little bit. If I move from medium right deflection to medium left deflection, there is a visible 'jump' in the axis test screen and the center moves to the left a significant amount. If I max out all axis it becomes re centered, but it generally quickly glitches again if I'm doing any rapid stick movement.

Although here it is returning to center, the spikes here is the jumping I'm talking about. Stick movement in this example was smooth. Interesting that the spike always occurs at the same point.

Try using the latest versions of the configurator and firmware. You can get it here. They added new features for the operation of the trigger and buttons. Read about this in the manual.

Try to set MPL=9 and recalibrate.

Which row on the physical axis tab corresponds to the x axis?

Edit: set MPL 9 for both, still have spikes.

This is it not returning to center (middle area).

The infuriating thing is that this used to work fine, and now it doesn't. As though something has broken. This stick is now almost entirely unusable.

All other axis are fine. Interestingly, I disabled autocenter for x, recalibrated, and the issue seems to mostly be solved.

Edit: It's not completely fixed. Just less frequent now.

Try to reset to defaults:
- find zconfig.ini file in the same folder with vkbdevcfg.exe and add User=Developer into [User] section.
- launch vkbdevcfg.exe and press Default button on Tools tab.

Have you tried to upgrade firmware? Try if no.

I'll try the new firmware/software. I've been trying to avoid having to redo all my bindings/macros, but if there is nothing glaringly wrong in my settings, I suppose I have no choice.

It occurred to me that the first time i calibrated and added macros, I was in developer mode. After that, i think I've calibrated it in normal mode (I can only access the developer commands if I remember to run as administrator). Perhaps this inconsistency messed something up. Currently, my macro lines are empty, despite the macros working.

Will update firmware/sorftware, start from scratch, and report back.

Default with old firmware and software made no difference. Updates firmware/software, still no fix. X axis still jumps even with default settings.

Edit: Unchecked "Eco" in Global Common. Seems to have helped a lot. No idea why.

Is there additional information I can provide to help solve this? The spikes are less frequent now, but still present.

Sure. It is not actually additional, it is basic: GF1 or GF2?

Also: please check the cable that serves the X-axis sensor.
You might want for the sake of ease of access to remove the mechanism from the shell, and dis- and reconnect the cable, as there is a tiny but still some probability of bad contact.

And keep us updated. We might be slow these days as we're in a hurry to round everything up before Chinese New Year, but we're still reading the forum.

GF2. All wiring and internals seem connected and fine (reseated everything just to make sure). I feel confident that this is a software problem, as it appears fine after a recalibration, a reset, or a restart, but then over a period of use begins to produce spikes again. This is why I've thought I fixed it a few times but actually didn't.

Any other basic information I've missed?

Please show screenshots of Global - Common, Ext devices tabs, Physical & Logical axes to. We`ll think together.
