Yeah, I really need to know WHAT firmware version is right for WHAT Gunfighter base and/or Blackbox. I have a MkII Gunfighter (B), and an MCG-Pro. Current advice from VKBcontrollers is just to use the 'latest'.

I just tried the MCG-Pro version of firmware in the 1_92_1 zip download, and have random buttons all over. I changed my stick to default and set before flashing, after flashing, and then calibrated. I was absolutely sure to grab the FW from the pro folder.

Going back to 1_91_E where I was before (I never made it to the F!) gets me back where I think I should be - no excess buttons lit. KDHi and KDLo look good (no 255's, all in a 70-150 sort of range) except for (a) the #7 Axis, which I think is the Z (twist, so nothing installed), and the high side of the #8 Axis (Brake).

As I have no intent to switch grips around, and likely won't be getting VKB pedals either, I guess I'll just ride the 1_91_E until told it's going to kill me horribly, or something....since 1_91_E is also where I made changes to 'Save' a .cfg file I was also comfortable re-loading it back after re-calibration.

Try 1_92_9, which is posted in the 2nd page of this thread. Nowhere on the ftp site, I don't know why they haven't put it there. 1.92.9 fixed the issues for me on my GF mkII/MCG Pro.

Hi AeroGator,
I've been running 1_92_9 without issue, no phantom button presses.

Any idea when we'll see a release version of firmware/software with the updated MCG trigger functionality? I grabbed a beta version of VKBDevCFG but it didn't seem to recognize my brake lever axis, so I didn't try to use it for any tweaking.
