Are my dampers too tight?

Today, I received my Gunfighter joystick, and when I was looking at the manual, it says the nut should not protrude past the screw on the damper. The photo below shows how they were installed at the factory. Do I need to adjust them, or are they alright as-is?

Sorry! In a hurry we probably put a wrong manual into the box.
I believe you received your device (MkII) with the manual for the previous version.
Our fault but we were just trying to catch up with the time.
