Virtual Toe Brakes

I cant seem to get the virtual toe brakes set up. I am using the Mk IV pedals and a gunfighter base with the warthog grip. These are plugged into one blackbox. I followed the instructions in the Manuals and How to sections, but when I try to load the profile it says "Non compatable profile". Am I doing something wrong? I've uploaded a picture of my device info. Thanks

May be firmware version of your BB is incompatible with profile`s one.
Read me file for profile
"VKB-Sim BlackBox controller
Profile for T-Link support
Firmware version: 1.81.6
VKBDevCfg-C version: 0.78.9.9
T-Link version: 0.66.2"
Your screenshot shows v. 1.852. Try to load 1.81.6 (http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Firmware/BlackBox/BB_v1_81_6.zip) and then load profile again.

Thanks for the reply Victorus.
I uploaded the specified firmware and loaded the profile successfully. The device config now shows 6 axis. My warthog buttons are not registering now though and the sys light on the black box red.
*EDIT* I forgot to add that the toe brakes do work in T link, but just not the joystick buttons or axis

I'm assuming there is no easy fix for getting the toe brakes to work with the gunfighter/warthog?

I think profile is mismatching. 2 buttons on Test tab were usual for TinyBox controller, which could not use physical buttons. These buttons were logical for toe brakes and response curves switching only.
When you use Gunfighter base with WH grip you must enable more buttons and registers. Please show screenshots of Global - Common tab. I recommend to set #But parameter to 128. Also show Global - External tab. Set RegN to 6. Then try to test buttons.

I changed the values and the buttons show up but are still not registering. The only axis that has any movement is the Rot X.

Gunfighter (GF) is external device for BlackBox (BB) so it must be registered in settings. And WH grip too, separately. As I suggest you attached it to GF base via adapter?
Here http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=908 you can find latest firmware https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1WRiD1czmcHbklBX2hMSEN0bzA?usp=sharing and configuration utility https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1WRiD1czmcHMVBEcVQ0dndyNG8?usp=sharing.
I recommend to load latest firmware for BlackBox with MCG. Default settings include GF base and a grip support.
Try to set up external devices as shown. Change default MCG device to Generic - as for WH grip.

I recommend to find zconfig.ini file (in the same folder with VKBdevcfg-C.exe, add User=Developer string to [User] section.
Try to make these settings. when your buttons will be enabled, we will speak about brakes).

Generic device on virtual port (in your current configuration) is needed in the only case if you connect pedals to controller and no physical buttons are present. This virtual device allows to map buttons of external VKB joystick to control virtual axes (brakes) of your pedals. Because of Pedals are connected together with a grip, we`ll use real button. Please prepare screenshots of axes settings too.
Try.

If you have pedals connected to a single BlackBox (where the Gunfighter base is also connected), you need to load the corresponding profile for correct operation. And only after that for the functioning of virtual brakes you need to make the correct settings in the configurator. Believe me, it's very simple. I will try to show in the screenshots. After all the settings, you should save this profile so that when the firmware is updated, quickly restore the full functionality of this hardware configuration.
After downloading the profile, check the operation of all buttons and axes (3axis) in the Test tab.
For the brakes, make the changes according to the screenshots.
For example, the first button is selected, you can change to a convenient one.
