Flashing Red Stick LED on Gunfighter Blackbox: Could it be a broken stick mount?

I have read every post on here about flashing Red LEDs for the gunfighter with the Warthog adapter. I have followed every step to no avail. I kept seeing the reports of the sticks not making full contact and to try to re-seat them. I took a close look at my mount, and one of the pins seems to be significantly smaller than the others and it doesn't seem to spring up and down like the other two pins do. I have taken a picture, and when I zoom in, it looks like that third pin is broken in half. What are my options here? Thanks for any help.
