VKB-SIM

I received my Gladiator Pro a few weeks ago, and I have been enjoying using it for most of that period.
However, in the last week or so my computer has stopped recognizing the joystick properly, and instead comes up with this message when it is plugged in. http://puu.sh/vY0eD/3dc45fcecb.png
On the control panel it comes up as 'Unknown device' and Wizzo and VKBconfig don't recognize it.

I have tried it on 2 other computers, and it works perfectly well on one of them, but gives the same result on the other as it does on my computer.
I have played around with re-installing driver software, and I have managed to make it work again temporarily, but it returns to it's non-functional state if it is unplugged or the computer is re-started.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to solve this issue it would be much appreciated!

1) Remove the metal plate and check connection of USB cable (unplug-plug)
2) try to connect to computer through USB hub

I gave re-plugging the internal USB header a go and it seems to work now!
The fact that it worked on a different computer had me thinking it must be a software problem, I can't believe it was so simple.
