'VKBDevCfg-C.exe': Access Violation Error

Postby Bearfoot » Thu May 18, 2017 3:19

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but though I would report this bug.

Running VKBDevCfg version 0.79.99 on Windows 10 (creator's edition), as administrator.

When trying to go to button wizard, get a dialog box with the following error:

Code: Select all

Access violation at address 00426B7B in module 'VKBDevCfg-C.exe'
Write of address 0000038A

This repeats multiple (~5-6) times, and then button wizard window opens. After this, clicking on any VKB window (button wizard or main) causes dialog box with same error to return. Cannot close either VKB window normally, and have to hard quit close using operating system.

Switching on "Expert Mode" solves this problem -- no error.

I am running into this same issue. Posted a screen shot here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p= ... tcount=735

Bearfoot said to run in Expert mode, but I am hoping this is something that can be fixed or has a workaround?

Don't use Button Wizard.
It only serves to maintain compatibility with old firmware versions.
