Hello from the US. I want to begin by saying that I do not want a refund, only a replacement unit or fix, because I absolutely love your stick, even with this problem. My scores in Star Citizen Arena Commander have tripled overnight and I finally feel in control of both space and aero-prop birds.
Now to the problem. I have been following VCQBR beginning in Reddit and then here, mainly because it dealt with his x-axis. After several days of testing and disassembly, I don't think it has the same root problem, so I am outlining here. In the beginning, I saw there was an unequal throw between the x & y axes. I immediately thought it was the new dry-clutch and Rainer later told me that it was clamped for shipping and provided your picture showing the center bolt to loosen.
I did all that and over a number of re-assemblies tried different springs and cams but nothing solved the problem. Did all the options you quoted VCQBR and got VKBDevCfg and VKB_JoyTester working fine. Finally I completely loosened the dry-clutches to the point where they have no effect at all. This was necessary in order to reproduce the JoyTester graph bouncing pattern you showed.
I have included a shot of my graph below, showing four patterns, the first two are up&down y-axis releases and the last two are left&right x-axis releases. As you can see, the x-axis is still responding as normal. And again, the dry-clutch is hanging completely loose on both axes with no binding at all.

Show a screenshot from the configurator of the Global and Profile tabs.
You can make a chart only with the desired axis, removing unnecessary check-box En in Joytester.

No such animals, only Action, Tools, and Settings tabs in VKBDevCfg-C. You can make single-axis graphs, but in order to reproduce bounce graph posted by UIV in other thread, I had to enable both x and y. This also permits representing the difference in the throws between the two axes.
X is represented by the black line and Y by the red. As you can see, X does not move at all when throwing Y-axis, but there is more movement in Y than X even in the X-axis throw because of some unintended dampening of the X-axis. There is only two oscillations of the x-line but 5 of the Y, even though this is an X-axis throw.

Another bookmark is Global -> External.
Increase the value of MPL = 11, click Set, calibrate, show the screenshot Profile.
After making several changes and saving (pressing Set), you need to restart JoyTester to see the changed data.

Us do not have enough of your Ok, if we ask to show a screenshot - you need to show it.If it is said (and shown) to make changes to Zconfig.ini, then you need to do it. Understand - this is more for you than for me.
And do not use overquoting, please.

Re: Poblem with Gunfighter x-axis
OK, this is the first you mentioned making a change in zconfig.ini. What change do you want me to make? And what the heck do you want me to show?
Re: Poblem with Gunfighter x-axis
Adding user=developer and running calibration I get:
The first two graphs are y-axis, the last two x-axis.
The first two graphs are y-axis, the last two x-axis.

Also, please don't forget to click on the "Set" button when you make any changes to your settings, like MPL as mentioned by UIV. When calibrating, please click "Start Calibr", and then move the stick up/down and left/right to its fullest extent, and then click "End Calibr".

You installed the cam#10, right?
OK, I thought maybe Ron61 was VKB staff. Sounded the wrong path. I started with MPL=10 originally before he told me to change it.
Also, how about the lines I added to zconfig.ini (Test All DI Joysticks=1) and (User=Developer)? Should I leave them or remove to leave them as original?

I'm glad you brought this up Rainer. I figured out the 'Set' part, but when I first started using the calibration, I did move the stick to the full extent of the throws during calibration. But I stopped and left it dead center yesterday after reading the instructions to VCQBR to not move it during calibration. I will go back to the original methods on everything and resubmit screenshots.
