I am trying to map the up and down arrows to my Y access. I have VKB Dev CFG loaded up but can get it to go. Or is it possible to split the axes so forward is one axes and back on stick another axes? Any help would be awesome.

About axis split - yes we can. Iwill find my example configuration.
About mapping - i do not understand what do you want. 1. A2B function allows to assign buttons to certain axis positions. So when you rotate axis some virtual buttons will be consequently be pressed. 2. Trimmer function allows to assign axis for button. A pair of buttons will increase/decrease axis response. This is very brief explanation.

An example would be awesome thanks. I'm trying to get forward to act like a throttle every back past center to act as a key stroke. It's for star citizen running duel gladiators.

Very briefly.
Axes_split.png

Example. Split axis #1 to 4&5.
Create two Virtual axes (Physical Axes tab)
Make Axis#1 invisible (uncheck Vs)
Set Comby 1 & 2 (different directions) combine type for created axes.
Set combine value = 100 %

Press Set button to set new parameters. Do not look to Combine parameter for Axis#1, That is for other purposes.

Try!
