I replaced the default springs with the lighter ones for about 30 hours of use. Today I switched back to the default springs and I'm experiencing grinding in both pitch and yaw. I discovered I had the springs too close to the mechanism initially, and pulling them back helped somewhat. The problem now feels to be in the part that rolls over the curved guide. How can I fix this? It was so smooth to begin with.
Edit: I should specify, it's the Gladiator Mk2 Pro

Re: Gladiator Mk2 grinding after replacing springs
Had a similar problem with creaky, rough movements on one axis of my Gladiator Pro Mk 1 and got the advice to flip the washers and check for ridges on the cam surface(of which there weren't any). The problem was completely gone afterwards and the movements were buttery smooth again.

The first two are the yaw spring, and the second two are the pitch spring.
To which washers are you referring? Someone on reddit recommended a very expensive lubricant. I have some propolene glycol, might applying that on the cam surface help the situation at all?

Here are two more photos of the top of the cams: http://imgur.com/a/Y1noo
It appears that there is significantly more wear on the yaw spring (second photo)

Try to do a little polishing of cam surface with sandpaper (sandpaper should not be rough)
Do not use expensive grease. Any machine oil is enough.
