2 problem questions

Postby Jellis00 » Fri Mar 10, 2017 2:25

I have these problems that I hope you can help me on.
1. I use the Gladiator with Combat Flight Simulator 3.0. When I saved the profile from WIZZO, I saved it as a *.cfg file to the same folder that CFS3 stores its profiles as file_name.xca files. However when I run CFS3 and check the Control Options where it shows the various sticks and configurations used by CFS I can’t get CFS3 to recognize the *.cfg profile created by WIZZO. What I did to get it working was use the CFS3 Control Options to map the buttons on the Gladiator to the keys used by the game and allowed me to use the Gladiator in CFS3, but it obviously isn’t using the *.cfg file from WIZZO. How do I do this?
2. When using WIZZO I couldn’t find a way to adjust the pitch, yaw, roll sensitivities. How do I do this?

1. Your simulator can not recognize cfg file created WIZZO(. Only WIZZO itself can use its own files.
2. WIZZO is a simple tool. Here http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Documentations/WIZZO/WIZZO_Guide_v1_7-9-2016.pdf you can find user guide.
VKBDEvCfg.exe is a powerful tool that allows to set up buttons and axes of the controller. Using this tool you can map joystick buttons to keys, adjust response curves (or change them temporaly only), create macro, control LEDs etc. You can find it and other useful software here http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/. But it is more complex than WIZZO.
If you decide to be Gladiator guru I will help you as I can)) I recommend to read Technical Support section. A lot of problems were solved.

Thanks for reply, Victorus. I downloaded VKBjoy and used it to test my joystick. Everythiing looks OK except I can't understand what rY, rZ and Slider 1 are for....they don't seem to work with any adjustments on the joystick??

I also downloaded VKB Device Config v0.79.10 but can't understand how to use it. Is there a user manual for it?
