VKB-SIM

Hi!
I have used my BM Mk.II with a TM Warthog grip, and set the NJOY up for that. Now I want to use the original VKB grip. How do I set it up for this grip? I tried looking for cfg files, but couldn't find any.

Not sure if this helps, but you could always edit your zconfig.ini file, and enter "user=developer" beneath the [USER] entry, which should enable a new button within the VKBdevCfg software that allows you to reset your stick back to default.

If this doesn't help, someone with more knowledge will help you further when they get around it.

The user=developer trick didn't work.
However, setting the stick up with regular buttons and one encoder is a breeze! Let me toy a little more with the settings and I can send you the setup. PM me an email address.

Check your spelling.

There were no [USER] section at all in my file, so I created it.

Should I add the first line you circled in red as well?

Doesn't matter much now though, since I have managed to map the buttons the way I want them.
But there would be a good idea for VKB to add the default profile in the downloads section.

How have you assigned the controls of TMW grip for using? I suggest you used VKBDevCfg-C.exe tool.

If you have added User=Developer string to ini file, you will find Default button on tools tab. Try to push it. All joystick settings will be set to default values. I recommend to save you current settings for TMW grip (Save button).
If you do not like some settings, try to reassign buttons using VKBDevCfg-C.exe. We`ll work together))

I used the VKBDevCfg to set it up for the TMW grip, but that was a long time ago...
I will try using the new software.

I have downloaded VKB Dev Cfg v0.79.04.
When I click in the line that says "VKB Black Mamba v1.74A PRO :HID-compliant game Controller" I get an error Message saying: "Access violation at address 005AB8D1 in module 'VKBDevCfg-C.exe' Read of address FFFFFFFD"

How do I Upgrade the firmware?

That's the same file, containing all the firmware files, that Victorious linked to.

But how do I install the firmware file? Select it? With what? Where?

Or just downloading ZBootloader in the same directory as the VKB DevCfg.exe, and press Bootloader...
