Gladiator Pro friction issue

Postby Lonestar501 » Fri Jan 13, 2017 17:21

My Gladiator Pro that I bought and received from VKB FSC Europe not two weeks ago has developed a noticable friction and a grinding sound when moving the stick to the right. It is still fitted with the cams and springs that it came with. It feels like there is some kind of problem with the gimbal mechanism, but I am not sure which part is causing the issue. I hope it is not the bearing.
Can you give me any advice how I could try to deal with it? Should I try lubricating the cam and see if this helps with the problem? Maybe remove the cams and springs and see if the bearing is the cause of the friction?

I have contacted vkb@flightsimcontrols.com last week but so far have not received a reply. Any advice is welcome!

Hi Lonestar501; I asked UIV to look at your post here; maybe he's got a pointer for you.
