Factory Default .CFG File for Black Mamba III ?
I have my Black Mamba III Firmware upgraded to 1.80B Pro using this file.
Firmware
_MambaFat_v1_80_B.vkb
I am using this configuration software.
VKBDevCfg-C
Can some one link me to some .cfg files that would be compatible to what firmware version I am using.
1. I would like the factory default .cfg file before any mods have been made.
2. I would like a .cfg File with the mod switch program having all the keys with alternate mapping to switch 1 and 2 settings.
I do know how to set the mod switch to switch 1 and 2 settings and how to make alternate switch 1 and 2 functions on each key to work when other mods are selected. I am trying to save myself a lot of time.
Thanks
Scotty

You must add a line to the Zconfig.ini section [User] User=Developer, a new button will appear in the Default interface. Pressing the controller will be reset to factory defaults. Then you can save the profile.

Hi Scotty,
I'm not sure what configuration you'd like to use in 2.
Here are two profiles for the Black Mamba (firmware v1.80B)
/!\ not compatible with the Fat Black Mamba /!\
Of course, make sure to backup your current profile before testing those profiles
I hope this helps.

(do you mean the small 3-position switch (BVR/NAV/VIS) just below the PoV hat? That would be 3 modes.)rusticalmond wrote:I would like a .cfg File with the mod switch program having all the keys with alternate mapping to switch 1 and 2 settings.

- default configuration. 11-bit resolution.
- 3-MODES using the 3-position slide switch as a mode selector. I excluded the encoder right/left inputs and the hat inputs which remain the same in each mode. The encoder push button sends a different input for each mode (= 3 buttons). 11-bit resolution.

I did not back up my factory default .cfg file. I figured a reset function would have been in the software.
Yes the middle button Nav/BVR/VIS is the slider I want to give the 2 alternate key mapping functions.
Thanks big time I will look at these .cfg files.

User = Developer row
I put this new code under [user]
I do not see the new button default interface.
Default interface?
Can you screen shot this button?

When I load those .cfg files this is what I get when I set them on the joystick.

It's that Default button, in the Tools tab:
There's a confirmation dialog when you hit that button, so despite the look, it won't go boom immediately

Ah yes
That's why I wrote that warning in my post, those profiles are for a Black Mamba and you own a Fat Black Mamba (the one with all the additional controls on the base - also sometimes called Fat Mamba).
Don't use the profiles I attached then. They're not compatible.

Check that post and the thread.
Maybe you'll find what you want. It's about the Fat Black Mamba and the modes switch.

My Zconfig.ini File looks like this. I put in the extra string and do not see the button your are talking about. Also I put in another string ForcedWriteID=1 that was supposed to let me see some sort of button macro tab. I never seen that button either.

The section should look like this User=Developer, and nothing more. No spaces before and after the = sign. And Macro appears. Sorry for my English, translation difficulties ....

Thanks for the screen shot.
I made corrections to my ini file and now see the reset button and macro button.

I have put the ForceWrite code in my ini file.

Re: Factory Default .CFG File for Black Mamba III ?
_mamba_w_shifts.cfg
Ok I just used this .cfg file found in the linked post for fat black mamba.
It works allowing slide button under the hat to function as a shift allowing alternate button mapping.
Thanks guys
Seems I am good to go now.
