Inaccurate Small movements

Postby helmetface » Mon Dec 12, 2016 0:10

I am having a hell of a time this joystick.

I am playing Star Citizen with the VKB Gladiator (non-pro). The stick is controlling my pitch and yaw, primarily. Which I use to aim my cross hairs onto other ships.

The overall motions of the stick seem very smooth, but when trying to target an enemy, I am having a hard time tracing the smaller movements.

For example, I am able to fly and aim smoothly, unless I make smaller, more incremental movements. The stick just does not seem to follow my hand.

Secondly, do I have to load Wizzo/re-calibrate every time I power down my computer? It seems to be the case, as the joystick behaves much differently after loading Wizzo.

Hopefully my issue is with my calibration process:

Load Wizzo
Load firmware via the bootloader
Go back into Wizzo and "start calibration"
Move joystick along x and y axis, completely and then save.

Is that right?

Thanks!

You need a screenshot of the configurator (VKBDevCfg-C.exe v.77.66. Is here), bookmarks Global, Profile. Refer to the documentation here.

I guess I'm still confused.

I am running v1.80.

I need more?
