Looking for help with configuring my VKB gladiator
I have been trying to load the config files I have gotten from VKB's FTP, and have used both Wizzo and VKBDevCfg. Had success with neither and always get the message "Error CPUID" whenever I try to load a profile. Once that happens, the joystick remains dead and I have to restart my PC to get it working again. Any ideas or advice you guys can give me on getting it to work?

Can you show a screenshot of the running Wizzo program? And no need to restart the system, you can reconnect only Gladiator to USB.

screen1 is what I see when Wizzo first boots up.
screen2 is what happens after I click "Apply" after loading a profile. Wizzo closes when I click "ok".
screen3 is what happens when I try to open Wizzo again after screen2.

Re: Looking for help with configuring my VKB gladiator
It was, but in Russian..
1. Download link itself firmware, Wizzo 0.73.zip, and Zbootloader-C.zip unpack all 3 files into one folder, for example, let it be Wizzo. In it you can save your profiles and putting others-that-be, everything was at hand.
2.Launch Wizzo and you press the button in the lower left corner of the "Advanced Settings".
3.Pop up one more "Bootloader" harvest, Gladiator is ready for insertion.
4.After this launch Zbootloader-c from a folder you specify, and firmware 1.808. You press "Flash it" .pic. 4.
5.Launch Wizzo and see an updated gladiator. pic.5.
Wizzo 0.73.zip and Zbootloader-c.zip lie http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/.
Sorry for my english.

Re: Looking for help with configuring my VKB gladiator
Same Problem....
I receive error CPUID and closing it or selecting OK.......... closes Wizzo down. I do not get to "advanced settings....
I copied the Wizzo 0.73 zip file and the zbootloader -c to same folder on desktop.
Also.......... I have the stick plugged into the usb port. lights flicker red to green ................ and then nothing.........
What can I do to get this stick and rudder recognized ( Mrk IV)

Re: Looking for help with configuring my VKB gladiator
I checked the process with WIZZO 0.73 and my Gladiator but it didn't go well.
Did you try using the VKB Device Config (v0.77.66)?
Copy the .exe in the same folder next to wizzo.exe and ZBootloader-C.exe.
If necessary unplug the device and plug it back in.
At least it worked flawlessly with my Gladiator, T-Rudder and Black Mamba.

- Select your device and hit the Bootloader button (in the Tools tab)
- Select the latest firmware for your device in the Bootloader window
- Hit the "Flash it!" button
If necessary unplug the device and plug it back in.

Wizzo currently only works with the Gladiator.
This is what I did to update my Gladiator firmware:
1) Open Wizzo
2) Select Advance Settings and click the Bootloader button. Wizzo will attempt to close and the Gladiator becomes unresponsive.
3) Manually boot up ZBootloader-C.exe. The stick will be detected by ZBootloader-C.
4) Select the latest firmware and click "Flash it"

I downloaded the files circled below from this link:
http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/
I also created a profile that uses MkIV pedals you can download and look at here:

Re: Looking for help with configuring my VKB gladiator
Ahhh ... NONE of these .zip files mentioned have what appears to firmware files, they only have .exe files.
Where are these firmware files kept? Are they generated by the .exes ?

Ah ha ... Thanks
Ok, there really needs to be a detailed set of instructions on how to do this.
