1st warnig is clear for me. ForcedWriteID=1 string in zconfig.ini allows to load any cfg (even not for this device) but warns. Set to 0 to disable warning.

Tried loading the first config, and said "no new data", tried a second time, same error. Tried the second config, and it applied fine. Then tried the first one, and it now applied fine. Tried the third one, it also applied fine.

So now that it looked like it was loading profiles fine, I then tried enabling the classic keyboard, which set fine. Then tried changing mouse to relative and always on which also set fine this time. However, still only showing 1 device, and no other devices showing up in the dropdown list:

Realy mistic
Let's try to execute following actions.
Unpack VKBDevCfg 0.77.71 (attached) into the same folder with zconfig.ini
Uninstall Vid 231 device using usbdeview.
Reconnect Glad.
Run VKBDevCfg. Press Make Reg File button. Execute reg file, allow to change registry - all data about Gladiator will be cleaned. Reconnect. Press Default button.
Try to tick Map and select keyboard mode again. Pray to Cthulhu)))

There's no attachment Victorus?

I tried running through all those steps with 0.77.66 but it still didn't work unfortunately :(

It's not really a big deal, but I'm sure I won't be the last person to ask if this is possible, so happy to continue helping troubleshoot. It may point to some other underlying bug/problem as well, so worth getting to the bottom of.

I won't be of a tremendous help, but I can confirm I managed to assign a left shift key to the eject button, following the initial steps.
I'm using the VKB Device Config v0.77.71 - Caillin, you can grab it from my Dropbox.
Gladiator (non-pro).
Windows 10 64bit + many peripherals connected.

Can you show a screengrab of the dropdown list showing the second Virtual Keyboard device?

I just tried it again with your 77.71 version and no change. There has to be something specific with my device, as it does the same thing on a different computer and I've tried a different USB 2.0 port on this PC with the same results.

Faaark, after your post Bourrinopathe, I went back to the initial post by Victorus and re-read it several times to see if I was missing something. I couldn't see anything different, but looking at the screengrabs I had an idea. I had been clicking Keyboard from the dropdown list, and then selecting the Key_************** option, then PRESSING THE SHIFT KEY! I just tried doing the same thing, but instead of pressing the shift key, I just clicked the shift radio to select it. Set this to the joystick, and low and behold it worked.

I went back and checked with pressing the shift key, and it works and looks identical to if you just click in the radio which is why I didn't think to try this in the first place. Was just a simple Russia to English communication issue!

Thank you and Victorus for sticking with this, and Victorus can stop banging his head against the wall trying to work out why the setting wasn't applying. The "Virtual Keyboard" dropdown being missing I think was just a red herring.

[EDIT:

Oh wow ok, those things just happen :D
Glad you sorted it out!
I'm quite busy right now and I didn't take the time to read everything ;) It's always easy to miss a tiny detail.
At least no aircraft has gone in flames!

Have fun with your Gladiator Pro! ]

I'm not sure what dropdown list you're asking for.
(I don't have any secondary virtual keyboard in the button function list)

Also, can you see the Gladiator listed as a composite device in Windows Control Panel (Devices and Printers) ?

Haven't had a chance to test in game, but definitely works in the log like your original screenshot.

No, thank you Victorus. A+ service from VKB. Having a 7 hour time difference doesn't help things, but all sorted in the end.
