VKB-SIM

First of all...I love the pedals. When I was flying in Windows no issues..but migrating to Linux...The pedals are being picked up or they were in Linux Mint as a Wacom tablet... and for strange reason when I move rudder..it would move the mouse across the screen back and forth. Has anyone run into this problem and what did you do to correct this problem. I know its somewhere in the udev/rules.d. to correct. I just noticed that with the installation of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS that the pedals are not listed by name..they were in Linux Mint as www.tinybox.com or something similar. I am totally new to linux..so take it easy on me lol. Do i need a firmware update or what.
Any help appreciated!!!! This is my lsusb printout. from the terminal. I believe the line that is blank are the pedals.

Version of firmware?

Sorry don't know...have had pedals for a year maybe.. Will see if I can find purchase date. think it's firmware related? Thank you for your response. Am not using any program to use pedals since I don't have any other devices...i.e. Flight stick etc. thank you!! Bob M.

Run VKBDevCfg-C.exe (you can download here https://yadi.sk/d/vJhGT6-Mqn2Z6), open Info tab and see Firmware version.

Don't mean to be stupid..what program or how do I open the .exe with Ubuntu 16.04 linux?

I had to take the rudder pedals to another windows machine ( because all I have is Linux Ubuntu 16.04) to get the info...I guess lol..
The serial number on my pedals (if you need it to tell you anything) is 41EFC5DBE4 36E944F868

I ran the file you sent me and from what I can tell.....not knowing what I am doing:

Don't know if this helps you or not...Thank you for your assist. I assume (if u walk me thru it..I can flash the firmware on the windows machine. etc.

Please, upload the screenshot from VKBDev-CFG software (from "Global" tab). Do not forget turn on the "expert" check box for showing an information.

The Global tab (the label is visible at the bottom of the window) should appear when you select your device.



Can you see your pedals in the list?

First, update the firmware to latest version 1.79.0 http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Firmware/TinyBox ... 1_79_0.zip
VKBDev-Cfg software for this firmware is 0.77.2.3 http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/VKBDev ... 77_2_3.zip

Here's how to update the firmware:
(get the firmware UIV suggested in the previous post, as you already have the latest VKB Device Config software)

You will need the Zbootloader-C.exe from the FTP.
Extract the ZBootloader-C.exe in your VKB Device Config folder (so you can use it from the Device Config: Tools tab, Bootloader button).

• Download and extract the latest beta firmware for your T-Rudder pedals (TinyBox v1.79.0)
• Select your device in the Device Config software
• Hit the "Bootloader" button in the Tools tab (the window will disappear and the bootloader will be ready to update the firmware)
• Select the firmware file ([…] button)
• Hit the "Flash It!" button
• Once the process is finished, unplug your device and plug it back in.
• The new version number will be displayed in the VKB Device Config software.

Hi...I just flashed my T-Rudder Pedals in windows 7x64...and this is the display page after rebooted etc. It shows 2 devices? pedals and keyboard. Is this right or is their something i am missing here. Your pictures show your flightstick and the pedals but not 2 devices with one listing (ie...pedals)..
