Look at Global - Common tab. If Map checkbox is checked, virtual keyboard is enabled. But to map virtual buttons to keys you must select Classic or Modified in Keyboard- Mode combobox))
You really can create virtual buttons using rudder axis (A2B checkbox). If you do not need this function, just uncheck Map. Virtual keyboard will disappear after Set button.

If you'd prefer to use a simple configuration, you can also test my profile for the T-Rudder pedals (firmware v1.790).
(Single axis, 12-bit precision, default smoothed response curve)

(save your current profile first - just in case)

>>> T-Rudder profile (single axis) v1.790 <<<

Load and apply, then check everything is ok in the "Test" tab.
