VKB-SIM

Hello everyone, today i received my VKB Vintage Fat Black Mamba Limited Edition and after changing cams and springs and mounting the warthog adapter to the stick i couldn't get any button to work. The sensors for pitch and roll are working as well as all the buttons on the base itself, switches and rotaries. If i mount the stick that came with the base the buttons of that stick work so it's not the cable running trough the central axis of the base. I'm beginning to think that the adapter is faulty.
I'm running VKB device configurator v0.77.23 with njoy32 v1.79+. The firmware on the base is v1.793 PRO.
For the configuration i have:
Global - Commom - #but: 48
External - SPI #1: S-But - RegN:6
And for the profile i tried with the physical layer and the logic layer but it just doesn't recognize any button. In the test area i see the 48 buttons but anything outside the ones on the base are just not working.
I also run VKB Joy tester and the same happens, axis+base buttons work but the ones on the warthog dont.
Any idea on what might be happening?

Hi UIV, i connected everything correctly, i took it apart twice to double check it. I also did everything i could find in this support thread, form loading a couple different warthog profiles to tweaking settings in the configurator utility, but i've had no luck yet. The grip buttons just don't want to work.

Please, upload your Mamba profile here ("Save" button in VKBDevCfg utility)

I'm using these two profiles, VKB NJoy32 PRO Default is for the gunfighter grip wich works just fine and FM_Mk3_W_v1_75_A is a profile i downloaded from here for the warthog even though my firmware version is 1.793 PRO instead of 1.75A . I'm uploading a zip file with these two profiles and my config.ini.

Please show screenshots of VKBDevCfg.

Problem solved, i have no idea why but after i rebooted my pc everything started working as it should.

Hello, I have the same problem. Adapter installed, plugged in, wires all good and no buttons work at all. I've since rebooted the PC but it still doesn't work. Please help!

I have the same issue with my new Vintage Mamba and the Warthog adapter. Installed the adapter, plugged it in correctly, wires are ok, loaded the Warthog profile but none of the buttons work.

I'm using the profile VKB created for the Warthog. Downloaded it from VKB site in the following file: VM_v1_79_3.zip
I haven't altered or made any changes. Simply loaded it and pressed "Set" to write config to device. So I'm not sure what other profile file you want since this file comes directly from you, VKB.
Nevertheless I've attached the config file I'm using.

I'm having the exact same issue.

Just in case it got missed, did you disconnect the wire on the inside of the base with the 5-pin connector and move it over to the connector on the other side?

That was the one step I had forgotten when I'd connected my Warthog grip.

I'm ashamed to admit that was indeed my issue... I don't know how I missed that step!
