Thanks for the info DHRF!
I disabled xHCI in the BIOS and that may have fixed things... I thought that was needed for USB 3 ports, but they still work without xHCI.
About the Mamba.
I couldn't leave it alone. I thought: "New Year, new possibilities!"
I flashed it back to the 1.58 fw and the shut downs started again. Can't have that, so I flashed it back to the latest beta. But this time, I unhooked the "auto" tickmark in the Zbootloader. This time the flash stopped at "download successful!!!" and then I unplugged the stick and reconnected it again... Voilá! Now it works and the blue light is on!!!

Great! That's a happy ending! (or beginning )
Thanks for reporting back. It may help other users.
(I'm wondering what that "auto" setting is for…)

Re: Black Mamba stops working...
Yeah, I learn as I go...
I think the "Auto" tick is an automatic reset of the stick after flashing. But when I leave this at auto, I get the error like in my pic. and the blue light won't come on after the flash. Stick still works as it should though.
When I left auto off, the flash process stops after the new firmware being downloaded to the stick. If I click the reset button in the Zbootloader I get the same error, but If I instead disconnect and reconnect the stick USB plug, effectively performing a reset, everything works just fine!
Same thing happens when flashing to 1.58, so It's not a beta firmware problem... And interesting to note that the "shut down" (my original problem) problem seems to be related to earlier firmware as it started once I flashed it back to 1.58. Still, this never happened in Win7, so it's probably related to Win10 as well. Compatibility issue?
Anyway, the good guys prevailed, once again!
