Postby Lynx » Wed Nov 11, 2015 13:50

Hi,

When I connect USB on pc it says unable to recongize... It happened after a firmware update :(
Any solution?
Ciao

Try to launch ZBootloader-C.exe. Does it recognize somewhat?
What did you do (step by step) to upgrade firmware? Version?

Try to execute following operations.
Short BOOT jumper
Launch ZBootloader-C.exe
Free BOOT jumper
Upgrade firmware

Hi,

Thanks for reply!

Unfortunately ZBootloader-C.exe does not recognize the Njoy it says error write data and the light is always red...

Last days happened that when I was connecting the usb to pc sometimes nothing was happening ans sometime it was recognized.
So I decided to upgrade the firmware. I donwloaded the last VKBDevCfg-C and it was saing that my firmaware was old but also error to read CPUID. So I tryed your same steps, short BOOT but nothing. Windows says USB device not recognized and in properties he does not have drivers of the usb device...
When I connect the usb I see a message from windows that says USB device not recognized, Blue led goes on for 2 seconds then off, on the device manager of windows I see a no specified device but VKBDevCfg nor ZBootloader see it connected.
I tried your operations but nothing. The only thing I noticed it that with boot jumper shorted no blue led.
Is there a sort of driver that I can give to windows to let it recognize?

I think you shorted BOOT jumper after Njoy to USB port connection.
Try to do exactly the following actions.
1. Close VKBDevCfg-C.exe if it was launched.
2. Disconnect controller.
2. Launch ZBootloader-C.exe You will see Boot device: turn out.
3. Short Boot jumper and connect controller to USB port. !!Boot jumper MUST stay shorted!!!
4. You will see new message in ZBootloader-C.exe window: Boot device: detected - OK.
5. Free Boot jumper.
6. Open file with new firmware, flash controller.
ZBootloader-C.exe will automatically be closed. If VKBDevCfg-C.exe is saved in the same folder, that ZBootloader-C.exe (recommended), it will be launched automatically. You can setup your controller.

4. You will see new message in ZBootloader-C.exe window: Boot device: detected - OK.

You have tried?
Or it was from previous experience?
What do you see in ZBootloader-C.exe window?

I have tried your last istructions and ZBootloader-C.exe is just not reacting while windows pop out USB not recognized.

In ZBootloader-C.exe if I press reset it writes error write data: 29767400 or also 5256936.
Windows does no recognize it at HID...

I noticed that with boot there is no led without led flashes for some time then off and windows writes USB not recognized.

Ok Guys,
Looks like the problem has been solved :D
I don' t know how but after trying the controller at my parents house (where it was not recognized) I plugged the usb on my pc and it was immediately recognized so I create a reg file and then upgraded the firmware!
Now it works perfectly but I don't know how it can happen.
Thanks for the support!!
