@OBrandenburg - as I said in the other thread, I'm sure your problem is game related, otherwise it would act up in Tester too. Unfortunately I don't play DCS enough to help you binding properly; maybe DCS official forums would be more helpful.
Also, you issue is not related at all with the OP of this thread; he's talking about ministicks, you talk about a HAT switch: they're different parts with different behavior.

My advice is to identify the issue first: do as I asked in the other thread: open VKBDevCfg in Test/Buttons and leave it running in the background. Open DCS and play. When that issue shows up alt-tab to tester and see if there's any actuation from the HAT switch when it's released. If there's not, then it's 100% game binding issue.

Understand - willdo. (Actually now - and after getting to know the DevCfg a bit better - I understand the procedure you are proposing...)

Thanks again - and once more: sorry for hijacking your thread, dangerzone.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I haven't had the chance to test thoroughly yet, however so far - I haven't had a repeat of the problem. I restored my previous profile (as it was different to the default), and still haven't experienced the problem again yet. At this stage I'm hoping that it just required a re-calibration in order to sort things out but I will report back when I have the time to test more thoroughly again. Thanks!
