Hello,
Its been happening for a while, started on the right side with the right multi-button "hat" where moving the stick certain ways caused whatever was assigned there to activate. Then a button I use for secondary fire began doing it, and now the center press off a hat on the right side of the stick - labeled reset - had begun doing that.
I've only replaced one spring so I haven't disassembled this a whole lot.
Anyone have an idea for a fix? I'd expect this with a Sairek stick but not for something like this.
Thanks!

Is the issue confirmed in the native software? Can you post a link to a video with the issue?
Re: Gunfighter Pro MCG ghost button presses
Well, I've tries the joytester and the vkbdevcfg-c apps and neither are showing the button presses when I try to mimic in-game joystick movements. I did tighten the bolt at the base of the stick as that was a little loose and there were some improvements but still button 8 activates somehow - which in Il2Korea I have set a the master arm so I end up weapons cold randomly.
I'll take the stick off and the base apart this weekend and clean things/check things. Its very odd, I intentionally kept my thumb away from the hat that had button 8 but it still activated.
I know its not assigned to something else as well as only that button is assigned to that action in-game.
Thanks for the reply, very strange its not being seen in the two apps but its occurring in two games that are using different game device integrations.

Re: Gunfighter Pro MCG ghost button presses
I was able to play for an evening with no ghost presses, at least for button 8 - as that was the one causing me the most noticeable issues - so it appears the slightly loose bolt that tightens to hold the joystick to the post on the base was the cause. Perhaps there were very small movements that interrupted the signal, or caused misread signals, somehow with the stick being slightly loose from the base post?
Very odd, I was expecting a short or some wires' sheathing to worn through causing wire to wire contract, something along those lines or even a bad circuit board.
I'm still going to take it apart this weekend and clean things - make sure no pet fur/dander managed to make its way internally to cause an issue.
