Config Compatible Custom Addons

I'm interested in creating some attachments for my VKB products, such as NXT and Gunfighter grips, THQ axes attachments with buttons/axes, custom STECS grips, and EVO stackable modules with various combinations of inputs. So far I'm working towards a THQ F100 style throttle that uses the simple resistor ladder and reroutes one of the axes into the grip for the manual ranging grip twist function. The grips on the other hand are proving to be a bit more challenging. I understand using the TMWH architecture and corresponding VKB adapter, but I have a real MiG29 grip that I would like to make work with a BB3 and the TM system does not allow for axes. There appears to be some provision in the Config for a "generic device" with user defined inputs but I have been unable to find any real documentation.

Has anyone managed to put an axes on a custom grip compatible with the BB?
