Button Changed Number Assignments Randomly

Postby HAUKR » Sun May 17, 2026 23:17

Got a weird one for you guys. Anyone ever have buttons randomly change number assignments in the VKB Device Configurator? In both my Button Mapping PDF I have saved and in Star Citizen I have Power on set to button 71 which was the "TGL UP" lever the STECS STEM. But now for now apparent reason when I hit the "TGL UP" on the STEM it showing it as button 57 instead of 71 when I first mapped everything. The only place that the number assignment has changed is in the vkb configurator. I havent updated firmware or changed the config files since 3-6-2026 but between then and today somehow my button number assignments have changed.

The throttle saves all info in internal memory and won't rewrite data without user input through VKBDevCfg. I suggest to reset to default and calibrate, just to make sure everything is alright with the running profile.
