Black Box 2 "Device signature not correct"

I'm trying to update my gunfighter mark III black box 2 to the latest firmware. But when I attempt to update I get the "Device signature not correct" error.

Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 25H2
Current Firmware: v2.11.8
Target Firmware: 2.20C
VKB Config: v0.93.89
ZBootloader2: v1.96(as reported on screen, but downloaded yesterday from VKB downloads)

I have a SCG Pro grip on the base. I tried resetting to defaults and recalibrating, but ended up with the same error message.

Run zBootloader and type in the command line: save
Zip the newly created file with the .op1 extension in the same folder with zBootloader and upload it in your next reply.
