Set Slider Position to Buttons Only

Hi Folks,

Not sure how to explain this, but let me give it a try.

On the SEM module attached to my VKB joystick, I took the slider position right next to the two white rocker switches and made that into a Flaps control for MSFS. It works fine in 2020. In 2024, it seems to detect it both as Buttons 58 through 61, which conforms to the four physical stops the lever makes, as well as Slider 1. This is causing some control conflicts. I read this through the VKB Device Config Util.

How can I disable it being read as Slider 1, and only honor the four button positions please? TIA!

To your issue, I would propose the following:

• Go to "Global" Tab. Then "External Devices" and then "SEM"
• There you click the Magic Wand Button to open the "Axes WIZARD"
• Simply change switch "Flaps" from AXIS to BUTTONS.
