Hello everyone,
Thanks to Alex Oz's great help http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=8639, I have managed to get a mini mouse function working on my Ginfighter.
I can't get it to work on my STECS. I'm sure the problem is sitting 70 cm in front of the screen.
I want to assign the HAT1 (or each other) to a mouse function on my STECS so that I can use it to control the camera in the external view (Star Citizen).
To do this, I activated the mouse function under Global-Common (Picture 1).
Under Profile-POVs, I changed the default setting (Picture 2) to my settings (Picture 3).
Then I wrote the configuration to the STECS using SET.
In the subsequent test, none of the buttons behave like a mouse.
What am I doing wrong?
Do I need to set something else on the white 5-switch (Picture 4) (mine is set to 1)?
Many thanks for any help.
Sirch

Re: Need help: STECS Space Throttle Standard and Mini-Mouse / Part 2-Function
Hello Alex Oz,
I apologize if I did not follow the forum rules due to my lack of knowledge.
It was unintentional; I did not mean to upset anyone.
I would like to use the HAT1 as a mouse on my STECS Standard/Space.
I would like to use this function to control the external camera in a game.
To achieve this, I did what I described in my initial post.
When the HAT1 is pressed (button 16, see image 1), the mouse function should act as an on/off switch.
I am attaching my profile (“S-TECS SPACE-L THROTTLE STANDARD STEM profile Mouse-Function.cfg”). I have packed the profile into a *.zip archive.
The profile contains my attempt at the necessary settings, but they do not work.
I sincerely hope that I have now provided the necessary information.
If not, I will be happy to update it later.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,
now it is quite exhaustive, thanx.
The thing is the STG grip haven't a ministick:
Therefore it is only possible to use the XY gimbal's axes .

Hi Alex Oz,
Thank you for your quick reply!
That's a shame, I was afraid of that. I don't want to sacrifice the Gimbal-axes for that, so I'll have to leave the function on my Gunfighter.
Best regards,
Sirch
