Button 3 (red thumb button) not working

Hi after about a year the left stick thumb button is working intermittently... if I use the button tester app I can see that as I apply pressure the button flickers and if I slightly move my finger on top of it with pressure held it goes on or off semi randomly.

It's not an issue of not enough pressure, it really feels like a dirty contact or something.

Is this a user servicable part or does the whole stick need replacing?

Check this guide to see how to open up the grip and check on that button. If the button is bad please fill up a service ticket with your local vendor for replacement parts.
