MCGU second stage trigger pressure

Hi,

I just bought an MCGU and the pressure required to depress the second trigger stage is inordinately heavy. It actually causes pain in my finger to keep the trigger depressed.

Is there anyway to lessen this, or mod the trigger somehow?
