Function buttons on STECS devices

Hello, when using STECS devices in the automation lab, I see many different buttons and switches. I would like to ask: do any of them have their own color codes to distinguish functions such as 'connected', 'usable', or 'upgradable'? Or do all the buttons have the same design and are only distinguished by the color of the connecting wire, which can be changed at will? Thanks.
