Device not registering axis or buttons with multiple VKB devices plugged in
Hi, I have a VKB STECS and STEM, Gladiator NXT L and R, a GNX-THQ and GNX-SEM connected together, and a FSM-GA. All devices work except for the THQ/SEM. No axis or buttons are detected. When I enable all devices, this module shows up a half second later, shows axis and buttons for a millisecond, and then it vanishes. If I turn off all devices and only use the THQ/SEM it works fine, but the second i turn on any other device, even just 1, I lose access to the THQ/SEM buttons and Axes. Originally this was happening to my STECS where i couldnt use it but after flashing multiple devices firmware and resetting and recalibrating devices, it seems the issue moved to the THQ/SEM. What am I doing wrong? I cannot for the life of me figure out why all of these dont work. I had them working on another PC but since reinstalled windows and changed hardware and now its not working. I have attached the screenshots of VKB DevConfig. The THQ/SEM is also not recognized in JoyTester or Button tester unless I turn off the other VKB devices. I have tried moving the THQ/SEM to its own, multiple USB ports to no avail. Right now I have two powered USB hubs with on/off buttons for all my VKB devices to make it easy to turn them on and off.

You wrote - connected together. Show a photo with the bottom covers removed, how they are connected together and with what cable.

I сan't reproduce this
1. Try a newer configurator
2. Probably something specific to your system (there may be many other controllers) - I will try to make some changes to the configurator. The fact that this affects other testers/system applet - speaks specifically about a system problem.
PS
try this configurator

Re: Device not registering axis or buttons with multiple VKB devices plugged in
I definitely think it is something specific with my system. I recently changed my system to using an x870e creator motherboard, team group t-create 6400mhz ddr5 ram, amd 9950x, and a zotac 5090. This system runs both my main gaming PC as well as my Rig. Here are my plethora of USB devices:
2 mice
2 keyboards
2 stream decks
a schiit audio stack
Fanatec GT DD wheel/pedals/shifter/handbrake
1 tobii eye tracker
1 Arduino for wind simulation
1 connection to a UPS
gladiator NXT L and R
STECS standard
GNX SEM & THQ combined
FSM-GA.
Playstation Elite headphone wireless dongle
So needless to say, quite a lot of USB devices. The rig is set up with a 10 port powered USB hub, and off of that are two more unpowered USB hubs connecting all of the flight gear, with buttons so can easily turn them on and off from the rig.
Previously, i used all the flight/racing gear in this manner with a different PC and everything worked find. That was a 14700k, asus rog strix z790-e, 32gb ddr5 7200 ram, and 3090. It is only have moving the rig to this new pc that I am having these issues. To make matters more confusing, I connected them all to my Rog Ally just for testing and everything worked as expected.. At this point I pretty much know its a hardware issue, I just dont know which piece it is. I ram a memtest and my ram was fine, my NVME drives are all reporting good, and I dont really have any system instability or anything, just this weird USB thing.

The previous system I had used my exact set up with no issues, and I have had these connected to each other on another system before that and it worked fine, so the connection inside wouldn't be the issue.

Thanks,
yes, I see quite a large number of connected HID controllers (68) in the system.
At first glance, this should not cause problems, but obviously it does.
I need to think about further modification of the configurator to localize the problem.

Re: Device not registering axis or buttons with multiple VKB devices plugged in
Quick update on my end. things seem to be working as expected right now. I was researching USB issues and was seeing a couple things point towards ram timings. Since I run a 9950x the ideal ram for my system would be DDR5 6000 @CL30, but my ram is DD5 6400 @CL34. I decided to try and adjust the clocks and timing on my ram and mimic a slower, but faster timed stick of the same type (team group t-create). I adjusted my timings to the following:
From: 34-44-44-84
To: 30-36-36-76
So far, as of now, this has fixed my issue. Will it stay fixed, i don't know but should the problem show again I will definitely keep this post updated. This ram timing update has also seemed to have solved a couple other, quite random and seemingly unrelated issues I was having, such as my work screen sharing freezing upon trying to share my screen.
