Hello People of the VKB-SIM Community,
I got the Gladiator NXT Evo Standart Stick for a couple of weeks now an used it approximately 5 - 6 times and mostly played Star Wars Squadrons with it.
I used the A1 POV1 4w/8w HAT Mini-Stick for navigating the menu and managing energy distribution during flight.
Recently I had a gaming session in the morning, went of and shut everything down. Came back in the afternoon to continue playing.
There I had to notice that the A1 POV1 4w/8w HAT Mini-Stick started to malfunction.
In the "Test" Window of the VKB Device Config Software (VKBDevCfg-C) the POV Display is set to the left lower corner all the time but the A1 POV1 4w/8w HAT Mini-Stick rests in its initial mittle position.
When I press the A1 POV1 4w/8w HAT Mini-Stick down in the middle the POV Display in the VKB Device Config Software (VKBDevCfg-C) centers back to the mittle and the Button 30 is recognised.
However, if I let go the A1 POV1 HAT Mini-Stick, the POV1 Display in the Software imidiately jumps back to the lower left corner. If I try to press the A1 POV1 in any other direction, the press is not recognised and not shown in the POV Display in the Software, the Display stays in the lower left corner.
First I tried to reblug the USB cable. Then I tried to reset and recalibrate the Stick.
Since nothing of that worked I checked to Base of the Stick but the cables seem to be intact and not damaged.
I did not open the side of the Grip yet because I dont have a fitting screw driver of this small size.
I suspect that the A1 POV1 4w/8w HAT Mini-Stick has a hardware defekt. Hope to find out more as soon as I am able to open the Gripe and check the connection of the A1 POV1 4w/8w HAT Mini-Stick Module.
Does anyone of you have a Idea what I could try ?
Best Regards,
WaveProgga
