En1 into scroll wheel for Elite Dangerous?

Postby gladders » Tue Mar 04, 2025 2:41

Hi folks,

I'm trying to get the En1 wheels to act as scroll wheels in Elite, so I can use it to tune, zoom in and out, or tweak sensors. But I can't get them to be detected.

I've tried following the guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB-pf6dEICM

But I guess the program has been updated since the video was made so the interface was slightly different. I tried to match it as best as it looked, but despite setting it, the movement was still not detected.

Would appreciate suggestions!

You don't need to program it an any way, just bind it to digital controls in game and it should work just fine. Or you can program it as an axis, as shown in the video, then bind it to analog.

I tried doing it in Elite - it won't respond, the game doesn't detect it.

And I already said that I followed the video's guidance, but it doesn't match exactly what I'm working on and the changes didn't work. The axis still won't show up.

Probably you messed up the settings. I suggest to reset to default, calibrate and try again.
